Hi folks, wrapping up the October photographs with some building shots taken throughout the month including the following ones taken from Philip Laing House.
I would strongly advise looking at the horizon for the next few photos if you’re prone to the heebie jeebies (a.k.a state of nervous fear or anxiety) when confronted with heights……

This was one of our favourite city images lately, so much so we knew that we had to include it in the exhibition in large scale. We loved the two buildings rising high in the foreground, one old and one more modern, the deep jade of the water blending seamlessly with the trees allowing all the coloured houses to pop.
Pop they did thanks to this photo being taken in broad daylight - the clarity and detail in the houses on the hill was exceptional. It’s always really rewarding when the printed photograph is even better than the digital one and this one was a goodie.

That concludes this wee set of posts sharing some of our October photographs, I’m pretty excited to get onto November as there are some absolute crackers amongst them but for now desk sitting has lost its appeal and i’m off outside to mow the lawns.
Thanks for reading - signing off with a few photographs taken on the 31st October and not a bad way to end the month…..
